VICTORIA Asigurari attends Annual Bancassurance in Emerging Markets Conference in Prague

   For the second year in succession the capital of Czech Republic hosted the Annual Bancassurance Conference on partnership among banks and insurance companies in emergent markets. The event took place on 13-14 January at the Palace Hotel in Prague. At the European level, bancassurance is the most important distribution channel for life insurance and pension funds and is widely used for non-life insurance. Despite regional differences, bancassurance remains just as popular as it has been so far. The second Annual Bancassurance in Emergent Markets Conference brought together bancassurance experts from leading European financial institutions. The event enabled every participant to share their own innovative experience in product portfolio, efficient distribution models, advanced models of approach to different consumer segments and many other aspects.

The following main issues were touched upon within the conference: 

-      most efficient practices and trends in bancassurance;

-      successful strategies and models in bancassurance business;

-      creation of synergies between banking and insurance products;

-      innovations for product portfolio: golden rules for a successful product portfolio;

-      crucial role of IT segment: realizing the need for investment to support key objectives of bancassurance;  

The duties of conference moderators were fulfilled by managers and CEOs of the following companies: Caser Group, ABN AMRO, AIG Life, Generali, Allianz, Swiss RE, UniCredit Group, Erste Bank, KBC Group, Munich RE Group, ING etc.
